The Do’s of Pressure Washing

It's easy to underestimate the complexity of pressure washing despite its seeming ease. If you are unfamiliar with pressure washing, we are here to help. Here are some of the do’s of pressure washing:

CONSULT THE INSTRUCTIONS

When compared to the instructions that come with other appliances, the manual for a pressure washer is essential. What not to do with your pressure washer, how to use it properly, and other important information may all be found in this manual.

GEAR UP

When pressure washing, it's important to take precautions and wear protective gear. Wear protective eyewear (at the very least, sunglasses), long pants, and shoes while pressure washing.

PERFORM A TEST WASH

Test wash your pressure washer on something you do not mind ruining, such as an old piece of painted deck. It’s important not to apply too much force to an area that you wish to preserve for aesthetic sake.

4. PROPERLY CHANGE NOZZLES

Releasing any accumulated water before moving between the several interchangeable spray tips is essential. When switching out spray tips, make sure the engine is turned off and the trigger is depressed.
