The Don’ts of Pressure Washing

It's easy to underestimate the complexity of pressure washing despite its seeming ease. If you are unfamiliar with pressure washing, we are here to help. Here are some of the don’ts of pressure washing:

DON’T GET TOO CLOSE

Leave at least a 15cm gap between you and the surface you're cleaning. If that's still too far away to be effective, you should crank up the intensity instead of moving in closer.

DON’T PRESSURE WASH YOUR CAR

The best option is to utilise a garden hose, complete with a nozzle. The power of pressure washers is excessive. Pressure washers may do extensive damage even when set at the lowest level, by penetrating under the paint or locating a chip.

DON’T USE A PRESSURE WASHER ON A LADDER

Unfortunately, ladders and pressure washers should never be used together in any situation. When you are standing on a ladder, you should avoid using a pressure washer since it might throw you off balance.
